Click on “Tools” then “Accounts”. You will get the account window again. Click on your account name then on the “Properties” Button.

You will get the following. Your “Mail Account will be hi-lighted and will have defaulted to your email address. Personally I do not like my account name to look like my email address, it is too long. If you start typing you can change it to what ever you like. Changing it affects nothing but what you see in the previous window. Check out the various account names I am using in the above window.

When you have what you like then click “Apply” then “OK” then “Close”
Another neat feature is “Rules. Found at “Tools”, “Message Rules”, “Mail”. Play with it you’ll figure it out. This is where I have my trash email address dump everything into the deleted folder.
